Rules and terms of InvestProp

General

F A Q

Daily Drawdown: Daily Drawdown is calculated based on the account balance at the beginning of the day.

Start of Day: The start of the day is 00:00 broker time. It can be identified on the chart by enabling the “Show Period Separator” option, where it is displayed as a vertical dashed line.

Maximum Drawdown: Maximum Drawdown is calculated based on the initial account balance.

Important: Touching either the Daily Drawdown or Maximum Drawdown limit, whether based on Balance or Equity, is considered a rule violation and will result in account failure.

After successfully completing the Challenge, Level 2 identity verification is required before receiving a Live Account.

The trader’s first and last name must exactly match the information shown on their identification document.

Sharing a trading account or user panel with another person is strictly prohibited.

Payments are considered valid only when made through invest-prop.com.

Traders are required to review email announcements before beginning their daily trading activity or submitting any requests.

Both the trader and InvestProp are expected to maintain professional and ethical conduct.

Trading during news releases is allowed at InvestProp.

Exploiting delays in order execution during news events is prohibited. However, this will not result in account failure; only profits generated under such conditions will be excluded from the account calculations.

Due to the possibility of slippage, wider spreads, and delays in order execution—especially on public servers—trading around major news events is not recommended. If you choose to trade under such conditions, objections regarding order execution will not be accepted, particularly on public servers where InvestProp has no control over trade execution.

Copy trading between accounts belonging to the same trader within InvestProp is allowed without limitation.

When copy trading between an InvestProp account and an account outside the company, the InvestProp account must be the source account.

If an InvestProp account is used as the destination account for copy trading, all related accounts will be disabled and no refund will be issued.

Algo-trading activity is recorded through MQL5.

Before purchasing a Challenge, traders are required to fully test and confirm the conditions of each server, including spreads, slippage, commissions, swaps, and order execution.

InvestProp provides accounts on two types of servers: PlusTrader and MetaTrader.

PlusTrader: No commission on indices, accessible through Iran’s national internet infrastructure, optimized spreads, commissions, and slippage, swap-free, and equipped with TradingView and risk-management tools.

MetaTrader: Zero spreads on forex pairs, a more traditional trading platform, and public-server market data without direct company access.

Slippage and spread widening during news events, market gaps, and periods of high volatility are normal market conditions. Traders are responsible for selecting a server after fully testing its conditions.

Test servers are available through the “Test Server” section of the user panel or by contacting Support.

On public servers, InvestProp has no control over order execution and accepts no responsibility for execution conditions. All orders are executed according to the broker’s conditions.

Account Password: Changing the Master Password is allowed and recommended. Changing the Investor Password is prohibited. If the account becomes Invalid on a public server as a result, the Challenge will be considered failed.

The use of copy-trading Expert Advisors (EAs) is permitted provided they comply with the Copy Trading Rules. Recognized risk-management EAs, such as Glory, are also permitted provided they use a clearly identifiable trade comment.

The use of any other Expert Advisors (EAs) is prohibited and will be considered a rule violation.

Occasional use of Martingale is permitted.

However, if a trader consistently relies on Martingale as their primary trading strategy throughout the Challenge phases and the Live Account, the account will be reset to the stage at which the repeated behavior is identified.

Using Martingale in a limited number of trades is permitted, provided that it is not the trader’s primary trading strategy.

Hedging within a single account is permitted.

Hedging with accounts belonging to other InvestProp traders, or between multiple accounts belonging to the same trader, is prohibited. If such activity is identified, the related accounts will be closed and InvestProp may immediately terminate its cooperation with the trader.

Using hedging as a trading strategy is prohibited.

Repeated trades involving risk or profit amounts close to the Daily Drawdown limit, such as approximately 4%, or close to half of the Phase 2 profit target, may be considered an indication of hedging between prop firms when this pattern is repeatedly observed across accounts.

If such behavior is identified, either a risk restriction or a refund will be applied, based on the trader’s choice.

For accounts below $10K, trades held for less than 1 minute may account for a maximum of 20% of the Challenge profit target or, on the Live Account, 20% of Net Profit. For accounts of $10K and above, the maximum permitted amount is 15% of the Challenge profit target or Live Account Net Profit.

Exceeding this limit does not result in account failure. Once the Challenge target is reached or a reward withdrawal is requested, the account will be reset to the same stage.

Inactivity: The maximum period allowed without opening a trade is 14 days from the date the account is received or from the most recent closed trade. Exceeding this period will result in account failure.

Official Basis for Rule Evaluation: The final basis for all calculations and rule evaluations is the Rules published on the InvestProp website and the data recorded on the trading platform. Information provided by Support or displayed in the Analytics Panel is intended solely as guidance for users.

Analytics Panel: InvestProp provides the most comprehensive Analytics Panel among prop firms.

On dedicated servers, the Real-Time Analytics Panel is available on mobile, desktop, and the InvestProp website.

On public servers, the Analytics Panel is available through the website and may occasionally experience delays or interruptions due to internet or server limitations. In such cases, the account status can be reviewed by submitting a Support Ticket.

Account Review: When an Account Review Ticket is submitted, the Daily Drawdown and Maximum Drawdown rules are reviewed.

Trading Days: Saturday and Sunday are not counted as trading days.

Reporting Errors & Bugs: Any bug, system error, or discrepancy, such as an account being funded with an incorrect balance, must be reported to Support as soon as possible.

Using price discrepancies, frozen prices, or delayed pricing between a broker and the underlying market to generate unrealistic profits is considered arbitrage and is prohibited.

Using High-Frequency Trading (HFT) to generate unrealistic profits through rapid consecutive trades is also prohibited.

For either violation, the first occurrence will result in an account reset and a warning. If the violation is repeated, the account will be considered failed.

The maximum number of simultaneously active accounts across all plans is 2 accounts, with a maximum combined capital of $50,000 per trader.

Maximum Capital by Plan: Economic: $50,000; Normal: $25,000; Speed: $10,000.

If these limits are violated, all related accounts will be considered failed once the violation is identified, and the user will be banned. If you are unsure about the status of any account, you may submit an Account Review Ticket.

If an account that has violated a rule still appears as active in the Challenge Management section, this does not affect the review. The time at which the violation occurred on the trading platform is the basis for evaluation.

Compliance with these limits is reviewed again when a reward request is submitted.

Accounts that successfully complete both Challenge phases and enter the Live Account stage are eligible to be merged.

Repeated purchases of $10K, $15K, $25K, or $50K accounts with a pattern of gambling behavior or consistently excessive risk may result in a permanent restriction on purchasing new accounts. Existing active accounts will not be affected by this restriction.
